Aims to prepare families for what students will face at college related to underage and binge drinking. The forum includes the viewing of the award-winning documentary, HAZE, followed by a panel discussion with local experts.
PROTECT AGAINST SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Parents Reaching Out to Educate Communities Together (PROTECT) features local parents, young adults, and professionals sharing personal stories about the consequences of substance abuse, so that parents and students will understand the signs and symptoms of teenage drug abuse, what actions to take, and where to find supportive resources. Middle and high school students and their parents are encouraged to attend.
Saturday night in the suburbs
Features an evening of dialogue with a panel of high school seniors on drugs and alcohol use, teen parties, parent supervision and enabling, social media, and communication with parents. The program is for adults only. Content is informative and appropriate for high school and middle school parents.

Forum for parents, teens, and community members to learn about today’s marijuana and its impact on the developing teen brain, academics, and mental wellness. Features presentations by local professionals and the sharing of personal stories by those who have abused marijuana.
