Support Groups




NAMI Family Support Group is a Free program open to all family members and friends of individuals living with mental illness.

  • The Support Groups are facilitated by NAMI-trained family members.
  • Parents and caregivers connect and support one another while learning about local resources for their children and teens.
  • Participants are encouraged to contact the facilitator before attending a group for the first time.
  • The groups below are also members of the Virginia Family Network.

NAMI Northern Virginia Family Support Group

Envision Counseling Parenting Group



Join George Young, LCSW for monthly discussions regarding parenting topics useful for navigating through the confounding maze of middle, high school and college academic, emotional, substance abuse, family and social issues.


The group typically meets the first Monday of each month.
